Moab Terracotta Air Plant
Canyon Tones & Living Form.
A single air plant—Tillandsia xerographica—rests on hand-placed Spanish moss within a refined clay object. The ridged vessel and muted green foliage bring the quiet warmth of rust-red canyons into your space. Designed as a statement accent, this piece is ideal for console tables, entryways, or open shelving.
Designed exclusively for Italic by House of Lilac, no two Accents will look the same. Each week, House of Lilac hand-selects the plants at the farm where they are cultivated.
Note: Due to sourcing process, orders may take up to 7 business days to ship out.

What you’ll get
- 1 Tillandsia xerographica
- 1 ceramic clay object, ~7 in diameter × 8 in height
- 2 batches of Spanish moss
Care Instructions
- Mist or soak plant 1–2× weekly; allow to fully dry afterward
- Bright, indirect light is ideal; avoid intense midday sun
- No soil needed; ensure good air circulation
- Rotate occasionally for even growth

First soak the base of your plant and allow it to fully dry.

Mist the Spanish moss and allow to dry. Fill the vase with a batch and a half, roughly, of the Spanish moss to create a nest for your plant to sit atop.

Place your plant as you like, adding more moss to lift higher up or drape the balance of the moss around the vessel.
